   This is better then the cheap black single charger that comes with most of the tools. The unit does charge easily and quickly and feels somewhat solid. The biggest issue I have with this unit is that it isn’t easy to know what it is doing. What I mean by this is there is a single light that indicates it is charging. The light never goes off…not in one hour, one day or one week. The unit continues to charge. I would really like a timer or a light that indicates the charge is complete.

   Other then the one minor issue a good unit that is worth the cost.

   I ordered this product with the hopes of being able to charge two batteries at once. Well I sent the first one back and the second one was equally disappointing. I blame the manufacturer for that. I eventually ordered a single charger and now I have two single chargers that are doing what I had hoped to do in the first place. I recommend that if you want to charge two batteries at once that you order the single chargers.

   I have four black and decker 18V batteries and had two of the cheap plastic chargers that came with them. This double charger looked like a good way to keep all my batteries charged. I noted in a previous review the lack of charge indicator. I have been “checking” the charge with my original cheap plastic one. These NEVER charge as fully. At first I thought it might not be registering properly, but the tools don’t perform as well if charged with the dual charger.
   I would not recommend this product and wish I had more of the original chargers.
